The first

VN-UK doctoral symposium

Academic Skills Room
Ground Floor, Marjorie Robinson Library Rooms
89 Sandyford Road, NE1 8HW
Newcastle University
AGENDA
WHO WE ARE

We are a group of Vietnamese doctoral researchers who are studying in the UK and passionate about supporting other doctoral students.

We understand that doing a PhD is not all about research but also about networking, learning other transferable skills, and developing ourselves to the highest potential. For that reason, the Association of Vietnamese Doctoral Researchers was founded in 2016 with the hope to share research experiences and create a networking platform for the Vietnamese doctoral students in the UK. We also recognise that PhD study is a lonely and difficult road and thus, a community of support is needed to help each other.

We are more than happy to provide advice, share experience, and introduce contact or whatever possible for new and current Vietnamese doctoral students in the UK on the voluntary basis.

For more information, please contact us on vndoctoralresearchers@gmail.com.
